Wun Ting Wendy TAI was raised and educated in Hong Kong, Canada and the US. Having received her BA in Fine Arts with a minor in Art History from University of Pennsylvania in 2008, she is currently pursuing an MFA at the Rinehart School of Sculpture, Maryland Institute College of Art, Baltimore. Her work has been shown in various exhibitions in the US and Hong Kong.

While she has a multitude of interests and artistic pursuits, Wendy is mainly concerned with creating pieces that address cultural, social and political issues. Her artistic practice is often rooted in scholarly research; she dabbles in cultural theory, ethnography, psychoacoustics and new media. Wendy takes a process-oriented and interdisciplinary approach towards her work - her most recent pieces are temporal, performative and/or interactive.
